Wednesday Update 9/17
There will be NO Wakey Wakey Wednesday morning since Lufkin schools are closed and won't resume until Monday the 22nd.

Sunday Services
There will be services at 10:30am. Expect candle light and an acoustic set. Carol will preach. We will pick up the "T for Teen" series next week.
Anyone interested in being part of cleanup crews, your help is needed. There are groups that will go out after church.
An announcement about Family Fellowship and youth will be made at the services. I suspect we will suspend evening events and encourage everyone to join in the clean up effort.
I hope everyone is well.

Sunday 9/14 update
In case you've missed it there is another hurricane headed this direction. It is looking we won't be directly in the path, but we are prepared to open as a shelter if needed.
Because of the storm, "Sink or Swim" a district event scheduled at Lakeview Conference Center has been canceled. Officer elections for District Youth Council will be rescheduled.
The new plan for Sunday is: Sunday Morning, Student Leadership meeting after church, 4:15 - 7pm evening activities.
We will know more in the next day or two if there will be an evacuation of the area south of us. Thanks for your flexibility. It's great to be at a church that opens it's doors to those in need.

If you missed the Jeff Johnson concert, you missed Jeff improvising the "Panther Song" sung just for his Lufkin Panthers! We love all our students and all our schools, but Jeff was overwhelmed by Panther Pride!
