Paintball!

Start the new year with a bang!

Saturday, Jan 2nd

Meet at the church at 8:45am

Bring $25 for rental and your first 500 paintballs. $15 for each additional 500 paintballs.

Bring a sack lunch and drinks.

You may bring your own equipment. You may NOT bring your own paint.

We will return before 3pm.

We will be playing at Splat City in San Augustine.

Do’s
Play the game with a sense of humor.
Don’ts
Do not take the outcome too seriously. Do not bring gifts that are absolute junk and unlikely to be useful to anyone. Remember, The Yankee Swap is about all about giving.
White Elephant Gift Ideas and Tips
The gift you bring should be something you would be happy to receive. Your gift doesn’t necessarily have to appeal to the entire group, however, it should be appropriate for more than a few people or at least something that can be regifted, otherwise someone might get stuck with something they have absolutely no use for. Try not to bring something that is too gender specific, for example, don’t bring a gift certificate to that chic designer had bag store unless you are sure nobody would mind getting it.

Treasure Hunt Finale!

This Sunday at 7pm, the conclusion of the month long treasure hunt!

We will meet for 7-8pm (because of the Children's musical at 6) and everyone walks away with a prize. Three will walk away with 8 gig iPod Touches. One person will walk away with cash or a a year of FREE youth trips. Even if you didn't participate you will have a chance at one of the top prizes.

Come hear about all of the summer activities, sign up for mission trips, and learn about the many ways to spend your summer.
This is a meeting for both youth and parents. 6th graders are encourged to attend with there parents to learn about the new opportunities avilable through the youth ministires.

Student Leadership Workday

Saturday at 9am until early evening we will have a workday to prepare for the up coming Holy Week. We'll advetise the sunrise service, help get ready for the easter egg hunt, setup for the super Sunday sign up. We'll also enjoy some fun like geocaching (gps treausre hunt) and great food.
Leadership is open to anyone wishing tobe more involved. See you there!
